Pokemon 30th Celebration Prices Australia
Compare 30th Celebration prices across Australian retailers. ETB from $100 to $199, UPC from $360 to $599. See who charges RRP and who doesn't.
EB Games listed the 30th Celebration Elite Trainer Box at $199 AUD. The expected RRP is $100. That is a 99% markup on the same product JB Hi-Fi and Big W are selling at standard pricing.
The Ultra Premium Collection was listed even higher: $599 AUD at EB Games against a community-expected AU price of $360. After public backlash, EB Games issued a statement and revised its pre-order prices. The episode made one thing clear: for this release, knowing where NOT to buy is as important as knowing where to buy.
This guide covers every confirmed product price, compares retailers side by side, and breaks down which products give you the most packs per dollar. For full product details and wave dates, see the 30th Anniversary release date hub. For pull rate expectations, see the pull rates guide.
Every 30th Celebration Product and Expected AU Price

| Sticker Blister | $30 | n/a |
| Poster Box | $30 | n/a |
| Knock Out Collection | $20 | n/a |
| Mini Tin | $20 | 2 |
These expected prices come from community-compiled AU pricing based on JB Hi-Fi, EB Games, and Toymate listings. Individual retailer pricing may differ, as the EB Games situation made clear.
The UPC comes in two variants (Day and Night), each containing Pikachu ex plus either Espeon ex or Umbreon ex. Both are identical in pack count and price. For a detailed breakdown of what differs between them, see the Day vs Night UPC comparison.
The Pokemon Center ETB includes 11 packs and two Nidorina promos including a PC-exclusive variant, compared to the standard ETB's 9 packs and single Nidorina promo. It is only available through Pokemon Center.
Retailer Price Comparison
The table below shows confirmed pricing from Australian retailers for the ETB, the product with the widest documented price spread.
| Retailer | ETB Price | vs Expected RRP |
|---|---|---|
| Big W | $100 | At RRP |
| JB Hi-Fi | $100 | At RRP |
| CuddleCloud AU | A$119.99 | +$20 (20% above) |
| EB Games (original listing) | $199 | +$99 (99% above) |
EB Games has since revised its prices following the backlash. But the original listings tell you something about how aggressively some retailers will price limited Pokemon product when demand is high.
Big W and JB Hi-Fi are both sitting at the expected $100 RRP for the ETB. CuddleCloud AU sits at $119.99, a $20 premium more typical of specialty retail markup. The gap between $100 at Big W and $199 at EB Games' original listing was not a rounding error. It was nearly double.
Where to Pre-Order Each Product Type
ETB and standard products: Big W and JB Hi-Fi are the straightforward choices at expected RRP. Both have confirmed $100 ETB pricing. For the Booster Bundle ($54), Mini Tins ($20), and other standard products, expect similar RRP alignment from these two.
Pokemon Center ETB: This is the only way to get the 11-pack ETB with two Nidorina promos, including the PC-exclusive variant. It is not available through any other retailer.
Ultra Premium Collection: The expected AU price from the community is $360. Compare post-rollback pricing at EB Games against this figure before committing. The UPC contains 29 packs plus 1 Classic booster, making it the highest pack count product in the set, but that value only holds at or near RRP.
Release Wave Schedule
The 14 products do not all drop at once. They roll out across three waves, with the set launching September 16, 2026.
Wave 1: September 16, 2026 Set launch. The ETB and several other products are available from this date.
Wave 2: October 2, 2026 Binder Box (9-pocket commemorative binder, 5 packs), Booster Bundle (6 packs), Mini Tins (2 packs + sticker sheet + art card per tin, 10 artworks to collect).
Wave 3: November 6, 2026 Ultra Premium Collection Day and Night (29 packs + 1 Classic booster each), Ditto Box (Ditto promo, acrylic display, 8 packs), Figure Collection Mew & Mewtwo (foil promo, oversize card, sculpted figure, 5 packs).
The UPC does not arrive until Wave 3, nearly two months after the set launches. If you are budgeting across waves, the big-ticket purchase comes last.
Value Per Pack Across Products
For collectors focused on opening packs, the cost per pack varies meaningfully across product types.
| Product | Packs | Price | Cost Per Pack |
|---|---|---|---|
| Booster Bundle | 6 | $54 | ~$9.00 |
| Elite Trainer Box | 9 | $100 | ~$11.11 |
| UPC (Day or Night) | 30 (29 + 1 Classic) | $360 | ~$12.00 |
The Booster Bundle offers the lowest per-pack cost at roughly $9 each. The ETB sits at about $11.11 per pack, though it includes a full-art Nidorina promo, sleeves, energy, dice, coin, and storage box. The UPC's per-pack cost is the highest at $12, though the Classic booster, playmat, promos, and accessories add value that raw pack math does not capture.
If your goal is to maximise pack volume, stacking Booster Bundles at $54 each gets you more packs per dollar than any other product in the lineup. Six bundles ($324) give you 36 packs. One UPC ($360) gives you 30.
