Australian TCG News

🎯 Smarter Filtering, Fewer Rip-Off Alerts

We're Australia's only price-driven TCG alert system. Every restock is checked against its RRP and current market value before it's ever sent, and listings priced excessively above that get automatically filtered out.

It's a genuinely hard filter to build well, and we'd send a lot more noise without it. This upgrade pushes that filtering significantly further, so the alerts that do land in your inbox are the ones actually worth acting on.

📦 Price-Per-Pack Breakdown

Most Pokémon TCG alerts now show the exact price-per-pack calculation inline, so you can judge a deal in the two or three seconds you actually get during a high-traffic drop.

💬 Built From Your Feedback

The response from the community has been clear: being able to see at a glance whether a restock is worth pulling the trigger on, especially when you've only got seconds to decide, is exactly what's needed during a busy drop. This upgrade is a direct result of that feedback.

🚦 Refined RRP & Market Price Guide

Inline RRP and market price data now appears directly in the alert, so you don't have to tab away to check whether a price is actually good. Every item gets one of four ratings:

The alert pictured above shows why both numbers matter: the Treasure Collectables Ascended Heroes Booster Bundle at $142.95 sits well above its $54–69.99 RRP, but current market value is $148.38, so it's rated 🟠 Close to Market rather than a straight ripoff. RRP alone would've told the wrong story.

🎁 What is My Precious Binder?

🚨 My Precious Binder is a brand new Aussie community charity project, inspired by @dillonwilliams.tcg and the sale of the binder that sparked this idea.

💝 You donate cards, we fill a binder and sell it, and give every dollar of profit to a charity the community chooses.

🗺️ The Plan

1. 🃏 Aussie members donate Pokémon cards.
2. 📒 We fill one binder with those donations.
3. 💵 We sell the binder.
4. 🎗️ All profits go to a charity chosen by the community.

🎅 The first sale is targeted for Christmas this year. Donations are now open, PO Box details below.

⭐ The First Donation

The organizer Forge, a long-standing and active community member, has already made the first contribution: a 30th Celebration Night Time Pikachu ex SIR (150/128). Forge has also supplied the binder and is setting up the PO Box to accept donations.

📈 Follow the Binder's Value

A public Collectr showcase is live, so everyone can follow what is in the binder and what it is worth.

📦 How to Donate

We recommend making a judgement call on your postage choices. If your donation is highly valued, we strongly recommend using tracked postage. If you choose to post without tracking, only send cards you are comfortable potentially losing — the organisers cannot be held responsible for Australia Post issues.

🎟️ Raffle entry: to be eligible for the raffle (a lucky donor wins six months of free Fellowship Premium), include a note inside the packaging with your mobile number or Discord name.

Confirmed Set Details

• Mega Rayquaza ex: Returns to the TCG as a full Mega Evolution ex for the first time since the XY era (M Rayquaza-EX, Roaring Skies/Ancient Origins).
• Supporting Mega ex cast: Mega Golisopod ex, Mega Golurk ex and Mega Malamar ex round out the headline Pokémon.
• Legendary Summit Stadium: A new two-part, left-and-right Stadium card played as a pair - the first mechanic of its kind in the TCG.
• Japanese source set: Delta Reign (ME06) is the English adaptation of Storm Emeralda, which launched in Japan July 31, 2026 with a 76-card base set plus 37 secret rares.

Chase Cards to Watch

Three months of Storm Emeralda secondary-market data already point to the cards worth targeting: the Mega Rayquaza ex MUR (~$1,830 USD, roughly 1 per 50-100 boxes) sits at the top, but the realistic chase is the Mega Rayquaza ex SAR (~$850 USD, roughly 1 per 2-3 boxes). See the full breakdown in our Delta Reign chase cards guide.

AU Release & Product Lineup

Storm Emeralda launched at roughly double the price of prior Mega Evolution sets in Japan - the market is treating Mega Rayquaza as a different tier of headliner, not a sign the odds have changed.

Set Overview

The Pokémon Company has begun teasing the next major English expansion, Pitch Black. Following up on the mechanics introduced earlier this year, Pitch Black doubles down on Mega Evolutions with a heavy emphasis on Dark-type Pokémon.

The mascot of the set is none other than Mega Darkrai ex, paying homage to Darkrai's legendary classification as the "Pitch-Black Pokémon." The set is expected to be the English adaptation of the upcoming Japanese set Abyss Eye, which hits shelves in Japan in May 2026.

Known Cards & Chase Speculation

Have the chase cards been fully revealed yet? Not quite. While the Secret Rares (SIRs and IRs) are still under wraps, early reports from the Abyss Eye card list confirm the following inclusions:

• Mega Darkrai ex: The undeniable centerpiece. Expect a massive Special Illustration Rare (SIR) that will likely dominate the secondary market.
• Supporting Cast: Inkay, Malamar, Zarude, and Chi-Yu are confirmed to be making an appearance.
• Trainers: A new item card called "Dark Bell" has been leaked, potentially offering immense synergy for Dark-type decks.

Release Logistics (Australia)

With the popularity of Darkrai and the return of Mega Evolutions, expect early pre-order allocations for booster boxes and ETBs to sell out quickly across Australian retailers like EB Games, JB Hi-Fi, and local hobby stores.

Market Intelligence

• Phantasmal Flames: Booster boxes hit a massive ATH of nearly $600 before a minor healthy pullback.
• Crown Zenith: Significant "pump" on Galarian Gallery singles (Sleeping Mew, Pikachu, and Mewtwo). Bundles are at all-time highs as the set remains a premier "pull experience" choice.
• Destined Rivals (DR): Booster boxes currently sitting just shy of their previous ATH.
• AH Speculation: Reports suggest the AH print run is largely complete as focus shifts to the upcoming 30th Anniversary celebrations set.
