Delta Reign in the Mega Evolution Series

Delta Reign is an English-language expansion in the Pokemon TCG Mega Evolution series. It is the Western counterpart to the Japanese set Storm Emeralda (ストームエメラルダ).

The pattern across this series is consistent. English Mega Evolution sets closely mirror their Japanese counterparts, arriving several months later with the same featured Pokemon and a re-themed set name. Delta Reign follows that template exactly.

November 6, 2026: Release Date and AU Pre-Orders

Australian pre-orders are already appearing. Hobbiesville has the Delta Reign booster box pre-order listed at $349.95 AUD.

Given Rayquaza's popularity, English demand is expected to be strong and pre-orders are advisable. If past Mega Evolution releases are any guide, waiting until launch week to order means competing with everyone else who waited. Set a price alert now and lock in a box before the hype cycle peaks.

Mega Rayquaza ex: Why This Card Matters

Mega Rayquaza ex is the confirmed set mascot for Delta Reign, appearing alongside other Mega Evolution Pokemon ex from the Legends: Z-A Mega Dimension era. It returns to the TCG as a Mega Evolution for the first time in the modern era.

The last time Mega Rayquaza appeared in English was during the XY generation. M Rayquaza-EX saw four unique English artworks across Roaring Skies and Ancient Origins. Those cards became defining pulls of the XY era.
