Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards Worth Money in 2026: What Australian Collectors Should Know
US pricing leaves out Australian shipping, import costs and local supply.
Contents
The dearest pulls in the current Yu-Gi-Oh! sets change hands for well over $200 a copy on the US market, and nearly every price you will find quoted for a chase card online comes from that market. For an Australian collector it is only a reference point: US pricing does not account for Australian shipping, import costs or local supply, so the number that actually matters here is built from local sales rather than converted.
The chase cards in the 2026 sets
The figures below are US market prices, in US dollars.
- Doom of Dimensions: the Starlight Rare MarshmaoYummy sits at $205, with the Secret Rare at $62. A Starlight Rare K9-04 Noroi runs about $160, and Starlight Rare Dracotail Phryxul sits at $80.
- Battles of Legend: Monster Mayhem: the Starlight Rare chibi Blue-Eyes White Dragon sits at $120, and Starlight Rare Galatea-i, the Orcust card behind the deck that won the North America WCQ, holds at $80, the second dearest card in the set.
- Alliance Insight: Dark Magician Girl The Magician's Apprentice reaches $120 or more per copy in its Quarter Century Secret Rare, against $16 and up for the Secret Rare.
- Quarter Century Stampede: Blazing Cartesia, the Virtuous has been sitting at over $90 a copy.
- Across the recent sets: K9-17 Izuna's Starlight Rare holds at $70, Rahu Dracotail's Collector's Rare takes about $60, Dominus Impulse sits at $48 a copy, and Mulcharmy Purulia's tin printing runs $35.
Why the US price is not the Australian price
US pricing leaves out Australian shipping, import costs and local supply. That is why an Australian market value is calculated from local sold and active listing data rather than converted from US prices. Doing that per card is the job our market prices were built for: an Australian market value per card and per sealed product, from local sold data, with Yu-Gi-Oh! priced this way alongside Pokemon, One Piece, Dragon Ball and Riftbound. Whichever card you are weighing up, judge the listing against that local value, read on the day you are buying rather than from a weeks-old screenshot.

The local floor is retail. We monitor 56 Australian retailers, from Kmart, BIG W, Target, JB Hi-Fi, EB Games and Amazon through the long tail of specialist card shops, and the Yu-Gi-Oh! side of that tracking currently counts 295 products confirmed available at a monitored retailer within the last 7 days. Recent stock has included the Battles of Legend: Glorious Gallery booster box, 24 packs, at $138.72 and the Maze of Machines booster box at $135.00. Availability at a large retailer can change within minutes, so it is worth checking Yu-Gi-Oh! stock at Australian retailers before you settle for a marketplace price.
The marketplace is where prices spread out, and that is the job our eBay deals tracking does: scanning eBay around the clock for singles and sealed product listed below Australian market value, filtered to products available to Australian buyers. The active deals feed shows current listings with pricing that accounts for Australian shipping and market conditions, flagging underpriced Buy It Now listings and undervalued auctions ending soon. That feed is the local price picture in practice: live Australian listings judged against a market value calculated from local sold data, and only the ones sitting under that value make the feed.
How CardTracker.au helps Yu-Gi-Oh! collectors in Australia

For the checks that decide a Yu-Gi-Oh! purchase here, the Australian market value per card and per sealed product comes from our market prices, built from local sold and active listing data; the below-market eBay hunt comes from our deals feed, scanned continuously; and the live retail picture comes from our stock tracking across 56 Australian retailers. The market prices and the deal tracking are free to use.
