Last updated: 2 November 2026. Two months remain in 2026, and the Australian Pokemon TCG calendar is not slowing down. The Ascended Heroes: Focused Fighters Premium Collection sold out across every major retailer within days of its in-store release, the 30th Celebration's Ultra-Premium Collections are down to a single retailer with open pre-orders, and Delta Reign lands in less than a week. On top of that, the first real details on 2027's opening set, Flowing Fists, are starting to surface.

Here's where things actually stand on the Australian Pokemon TCG calendar for 2026: what's sold out already, what's still coming, and what to watch for heading into early 2027. For the live, continuously updated version of this calendar, see our full Pokemon TCG release calendar for Australia.

Where things stand right now (2 November 2026)

A few things have changed in the past week that are worth knowing before you plan around any of it:

The 30th Celebration's final waves

The 30th Celebration set runs across five separate waves rather than a single release day, and Wave 4 has itself split into three different dates after a supplier delay. Here is the full schedule, including what has already shipped.

Wave Date Products Status
Wave 1 16 September 2026 Elite Trainer Box, Pokemon Center ETB, Pokemon ex Box, Knock Out Collection, Tech Sticker Collections, Poster Collection, 2-Pack Blister, Binder Collection Released
Wave 2 2 October 2026 Booster Bundle, Mini Tins (10 artworks) Released
Wave 3 30 October 2026 Battle Deck (Espeon ex and Umbreon ex) Released
Wave 4 6 November 2026 5 Booster Tin (Sylveon ex / Greninja ex, 5-pack version) Upcoming
Wave 4 (delayed) 13 November 2026 Ultra-Premium Collection (Day and Night) Upcoming - mostly sold out at pre-order
Wave 4 (delayed) 20 November 2026 Ditto Premium Collection, Figure Collection (Mew and Mewtwo) Upcoming
Wave 5 4 December 2026 Sylveon ex Tin, Greninja ex Tin (4-pack version), Mega Forces Tin (per EB Games) Upcoming

Both Wave 4 delays trace back to the same cause: Toymate told pre-order customers its supplier reported an unexpected delay in production and supply, and EB Games lists the same revised dates. Other retailers are expected to follow suit.

The Ultra-Premium Collections: sold out everywhere except Big W

The Ultra-Premium Collection (Day and Night) is the standout product of the whole 30th Celebration lineup, and demand has matched that. Kmart's online pre-order allocation was overwhelmed by bot traffic back in September, to the point that no genuine customer on a standard browser could complete a purchase. As of this week, Target has also sold through its online pre-order allocation, which means Kmart, Target, Toymate and EB Games have all now sold out ahead of the 13 November release.

That leaves Big W as the only major retailer that has not yet sold the Ultra-Premium Collections online - and there is a real chance it stays that way. Unconfirmed reports suggest Big W may skip an online pre-order for this product entirely, pointing to ongoing IT issues and the same bot and scalper activity that hit other retailers' listings. If that holds, the likely outcome is an in-store-only release, possibly weighted toward Queensland stores, similar to how Big W handled its in-store allocation for the Focused Fighters Premium Collection on 30 October.

It's still just a rumour though, so take it with a grain of salt until Big W actually confirms one way or the other. If you are chasing the Day and Night sets and do not already have a pre-order locked in elsewhere, an in-store walk-in on or after 13 November is currently the most realistic path. Pokemon Center AU has not made this release available to Australian customers at all.

A note on buying the Ultra-Premium Collection in-store on release day

If you don't have a pre-order secured at this point, this one is for you. The UPC is going to be highly sought after by every collector and individual trying to make a quick dollar. People will be lining up early, more than likely the night before, and most people will miss out.

Here's my suggestion to you as a collector: take the money (and the time), get a proper rest, and buy singles instead. Do not pay resellers under any circumstances, including retailers that are selling them for $500+. For the price of a UPC at retail or higher, you can easily buy several chase cards.

Delta Reign arrives 6 November

Delta Reign (ME06), the sixth main expansion in the Mega Evolution series, releases in Australia on 6 November 2026 - the same day as the 30th Celebration's 5 Booster Tin. Mega Rayquaza ex headlines the set alongside Mega Golurk ex, Mega Malamar ex and Mega Golisopod ex. The full range includes the Booster Box, Elite Trainer Box, Booster Bundle, Three Booster Blister, Sleeved Booster Packs, Checklane Blister, and both 9-Pocket and 4-Pocket Portfolios, with the Build and Battle Box following two weeks later on 20 November.

Specialist retailers such as Treasure Collectables and RNR Hobbies had already sold through or backordered their initial Delta Reign allocations well before release, the same pattern we've seen across most major 2026 sets this year. See our where to buy Delta Reign in Australia guide for a full retailer-by-retailer breakdown and price comparison.

After Delta Reign: the first word on Flowing Fists

With Delta Reign landing and the 30th Celebration winding down through December, attention is starting to shift to what comes next. The next main Mega Evolution set is expected to be called Flowing Fists (ME07), the English-language counterpart to Japan's Aura Seeker, which is reported for a 27 November 2026 release in Japan.

Nothing about Flowing Fists is official yet, so everything below should be read as early and unconfirmed:

For context on what else might follow Flowing Fists into 2027, including a rumoured Team Rocket themed set based on a June 2026 trademark filing, see our guide to what comes after Delta Reign.

Frequently asked questions

What Pokemon TCG releases are left in Australia for 2026?
The remaining 30th Celebration waves (5 Booster Tin on 6 November, Ultra-Premium Collections on 13 November, Ditto Premium Collection and Figure Collection on 20 November, and Wave 5 tins on 4 December), Delta Reign on 6 November and its Build and Battle Box on 20 November, and the tail end of Focused Fighters stock at some Kmart stores.

Is the Focused Fighters Premium Collection still available anywhere?
Major retailers have sold out following the 30 October in-store release, though some Kmart stores are still selling remaining stock into this week after delivery delays. EB Games has a second pre-order wave due for delivery in December, which could bring stock back at other retailers too. Costco is also rumoured to stock it before the end of 2026, though this is unconfirmed.

Will Costco sell Pokemon TCG products in Australia?
Unconfirmed reports suggest Costco may stock the Focused Fighters Premium Collection, some 30th Celebration specialty products, and a separate Phantasmal Flames dual-product bundle before the end of 2026. Costco has not confirmed this itself, and Fellowship of the Pings is tracking for when or if these go live online.

Can I still buy the 30th Celebration Ultra-Premium Collection?
Online pre-orders are sold out at Kmart, Target, Toymate and EB Games. Big W has not sold it online yet and may end up releasing it in-store only on or after 13 November, with unconfirmed reports pointing to Queensland stores getting a larger share.

What is Flowing Fists?
The expected English name for the next main Pokemon TCG Mega Evolution set (ME07), following Delta Reign. It is the English counterpart to Japan's Aura Seeker set. No official release date, card list or Australian pre-order date has been confirmed yet.

When will Flowing Fists pre-orders open in Australia?
Not confirmed, but EB Games has historically opened pre-orders for new main sets around three months before release, which points to a possible window around early November 2026 given the unconfirmed 5 February 2027 release reports.

Where can I find the full, up-to-date Pokemon TCG release schedule for Australia?
Our release calendar is updated as retailer dates change and covers every confirmed set and product alongside rumoured future releases.
