Pokemon Chaos Rising Card List and Most Valuable Pulls
Every Chaos Rising card and chase card ranked by price, from Mega Greninja ex SIR to the top Illustration Rares, plus where to buy sealed product in Australia.
Chaos Rising is a 122-card set built around a single card. The Mega Greninja ex Special Illustration Rare sits near $187.50 USD ungraded, while the next chase down the list, Cinccino ex, drops to about $53.42. That gap is the whole set in miniature: one flagship doing the heavy lifting, and a small supporting cast trying to hold value behind it. For an Australian collector deciding whether to rip or hold, the real question is whether anything below Mega Greninja can stand on its own when the top card runs hot.
What Is Pokemon TCG Chaos Rising?
Chaos Rising is the fourth set in the Mega Evolution series, with the set code ME04, and it launched on May 22, 2026. It is a standard expansion, not a special set, and it is based on the Japanese Ninja Spinner set. Standard sets carry different pull structures and price points than special sets, which matters more than usual here because of how small this one is.
The set code you will see on sealed product and singles listings is CRI. The headline Pokemon are Mega Evolution ex cards, with Mega Greninja ex out front and Mega Pyroar ex, Mega Dragalge ex, and Mega Floette ex backing it up.
The Chaos Rising Card List: 122 Cards, One Flagpole
The complete Pokemon Chaos Rising card list runs 122 cards, split into 86 base cards and 36 secret rares. Of those, 36 qualify as chase-tier rarities: Mega Hyper Rare, Special Illustration Rare, Ultra Rare, and Illustration Rare. Nearly a third of the set sits in the chase tier, which is why a small set like this earns its reputation for friendlier pull rates.
The secret rares are where the money lives. The base set carries the playable Mega Evolution ex cards and trainers, while the 36 secret rares carry the artwork and the value. If you are chasing a master set, the smaller card total means fewer gaps to fill than in a special set.

| 10 | Ampharos | Illustration Rare | 90 | $7.52 |
Mega Greninja ex SIR (#116) is the defining chase card, and it is the card this set will be remembered for. The Mega Hyper Rare version (#122) is rarer but slightly cheaper ungraded at $169.00, though a PSA 10 copy has reached $830.98.
Below the two Greninja cards, the Special Illustration Rares stay unusually accessible. Cinccino ex leads the second tier at $53.42, with Mega Dragalge ex at $34.82 and Mega Floette ex at $30.38. AZ's Tranquility and Roxie's Performance are also part of the Special Illustration Rares.
The Illustration Rares punch above their rarity because they are tied to the Greninja line. Froakie (#88) sits at $11.00 ungraded and $135.00 in a PSA 10, while Xerneas (#91) at $8.75 jumps to $159.97 graded.
Rip or Hold? What a Small Set Gets You
The small set size is the best and worst thing about Chaos Rising. A smaller card total means better pull rates and an easier master set, and this expansion lands around 120 cards, in line with Perfect Order and Phantasmal Flames. One early reviewer opened 17 packs and pulled four ex, three Illustration Rares, and one Ultra Rare: a hit in eight packs, just under 50%.
The tradeoff is repetition. With fewer cards in the pool, duplicate hits pile up fast, and the thrill of a small set wears thin when you keep seeing the same rares instead of Mega Greninja. The flagship chase also casts a long shadow. It is a genuine franchise icon, and the card backs it up mechanically: 350 HP and a Mortal Shuriken Ability that discards a Basic Water Energy to place six damage counters on an opponent's Pokemon.
Competitively, the set got a mixed reception. Player Grant Manley's read was that it "isn't all that good," largely because of its small size. There are bright spots. Special Red Card is a new Item that shuffles an opponent's hand to the bottom and draws three cards when they have three or fewer Prize cards left, without eating the ACE SPEC slot. But competitive play is a side story for collectors. The value question stays on whether Mega Greninja's heat depresses everything below it, the same pattern that hit Phantasmal Flames when its top chase soaked up demand.
Where to Buy Chaos Rising in Australia
Sealed Chaos Rising ships in a few standard formats. The booster display holds 36 packs, and each pack contains 10 cards, one Basic Energy, and one Pokemon TCG Live code card. Elite Trainer Boxes and Build & Battle Boxes run through the usual Australian channels too.
If you are buying singles, remember the prices above are USD from the US market, so Australian listings will move with the exchange rate and local demand. CardTracker tracks live Australian listings for the set, including the Mega Greninja ex SIR this whole list orbits, on its Chaos Rising deals page. For sealed product, compare prices across Australian retailers on the booster box listings and booster bundle listings before you rip.
