Pokemon 30th Anniversary Set Card List

The pokemon 30th anniversary set card list splits into two chase tiers that serve completely different collectors. The Classic Collection reprints 30 iconic cards from across 30 years of TCG history, each with a Pikachu stamp and special holofoil treatment. The Futuristic Rare tier introduces a new rarity to the game. Which tier you care about determines which product you buy, because they are not distributed equally across the lineup.

The set launches September 16, 2026, with additional product waves releasing on a staggered schedule after that. Here is the full card list, every promo, and which box to target.

What Makes 30th Celebration Different

Three things separate this set from standard Scarlet and Violet expansions.

Every card is foil. Not just the rares and ultra rares. Every card in the set is foil, including Basic Energy cards. There is no non-holo filler.

Guaranteed Pikachu illustration per pack. Each booster pack contains five foil cards (including one of 30 unique illustrations of Pikachu) and one foil Basic Energy card. Thirty different Pikachu artworks across the set, one guaranteed per pack.

A new rarity tier. Futuristic Rare is the new rarity debuting in this set, adding a chase layer on top of the standard ultra rare pool.

The main set includes 128 cards, with secret rare and Classic Collection counts still to be confirmed beyond what has been revealed so far. For the full Australian pricing and preorder picture, see the 30th Celebration set Australia guide.

Futuristic Rare: The New Chase Rarity

Futuristic Rare is the new rarity debuting in this set. Pull rates, the full list of cards carrying this rarity, and secondary market pricing have not been confirmed yet.

If you are chasing the newest and rarest cards in the set rather than nostalgia reprints, Futuristic Rares are the tier to watch. More details should surface as September approaches.

The Classic Collection: 30 Reprints Across 30 Years

The Classic Collection is the nostalgia play. Thirty classic cards from throughout the Pokemon TCG's history, each reprinted with a Pikachu stamp and a special holofoil treatment. The selection is a mix of collector favourites such as Crystal Lugia and the Illustration Rare Magikarp, alongside competitive staples of different eras, including Erika's Jigglypuff, Sneasel, Delcatty, and Uxie.

Promo Cards: Product-Locked Chase Cards

Six promo cards are confirmed, each locked to a specific product.

Nidorina (ETB Promo)

Nidorina is #30 in the Pokedex, and the card illustration features exactly 30 Nidorinas. It ships as a full-art promo in both versions of the Elite Trainer Box.

Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres (Poster Collection)

The Poster Collection includes foil promo cards featuring three powerful Legendary Pokemon from the Kanto region, Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres, plus a poster featuring images of over 160 cards from the set, along with three booster packs.

Victini and Zeraora (Battle Deck Promos)

The 30th Celebration Battle Decks come in two variants. An illustration rare-style Victini alongside Espeon ex, and an electrifying illustration rare-style Zeraora paired with Umbreon ex. Illustration rare-style promos outside of booster packs are uncommon, making these notable for collectors who chase that art style.

Mew and Mewtwo (Figure Collection)

The Figure Collection includes a foil promo and a jumbo card featuring Mew or Mewtwo, a figure of the Pokemon, plus five 30th Celebration booster packs. This product is part of the staggered release wave following the September 16 launch.

Which Product to Buy for Which Chase Tier

Figure Collection (Mew / Mewtwo) 5 Base set, figure Mew or Mewtwo (foil promo + jumbo) Staggered

The Pokemon Center ETB gives you the most booster packs at 11, compared to the standard ETB's 9. Both launch September 16. The Ultra-Premium Collection includes 29 booster packs and one Classic Collection booster pack, making it the only confirmed route to Classic Collection cards so far.

If you are chasing Futuristic Rares from standard packs, maximise pack count. If you want the Classic Collection reprints, the UPC is where to focus.

What to Watch Before September

Pull rates for Futuristic Rares remain unconfirmed. Classic Collection distribution could expand beyond the UPC if additional products are announced. And specific release dates for the staggered wave products have not been locked in publicly yet.

Set up price alerts for the products you are targeting. Australian preorder pricing tends to shift as launch approaches, and the UPC in particular will be in high demand given it is the sole confirmed source of Classic Collection cards.
